Specimens are offered on a first-come, first serve basis. All material is guaranteed to be exactly as described. A Certificate of Authenticity is included with each meteoritical specimen. Iron meteorites

Hard to acquire classifications and localities.

Offered are lab prepared sections of specific, well-researched and published, iron meteorites. All have been carefully prepared to display the individual characteristics of each meteorite and are supplied in a clear display case with label.

These are difficult to acquire meteorite localities or classifications.
All images were taken of the specimens being offered. Prices and availability subject to change without notice.

8.95 kg, found on a farm in Arlington, Sibley County, Minnesota in 1894. Everything about this iron meteorite is anomalous - shape, structure, and chemistry.
Universities have been repositories for meteorites since the late 1700's. Specimens were cut, drilled, chemically dissolved, and "peeled" (fusion crust was of little interest) for study. To keep track of them the names were often acid-etched onto the surface as seen above.
